Where is laney from intervention

Money does not buy happiness for her. She is a hard core alcoholic. She has been an alcoholic for 6 years. Her liver is only functioning at 20 percent. Laney's father abandoned her, and her mother farmed Laney off to an aunt. By the time Laney was 7, her mother had married and divorced twice. Her stepfather emotionally abused her. When Laney was 12, her mother became pregnant. At age 13, Laney attempted suicide. Laney was an excellent student and had many friends. After graduation, she was raped by a drunken ex-boyfriend.

She did not press charges, and she refused to talk to a therapist. Laney married at 27 to a man who became an executive of a dot. They become wealthy. She and her husband made millions. Laney drank heavily during the marriage. After her divorce, Laney was a wealthy woman who was deep into her alcoholism. She didn't work and instead devoted her days to drinking. Her fear of getting hurt again causes her to be extra vigilant about locking her doors. Most of her family have cut Laney off because of her alcoholism.

Laney sees her mother twice a week. Laney plays emotional blackmail with her mother and cousin by telling them she is dying or that her life is over. While the film crew is in her home, Laney takes an entire bottle of pills and chases it with alcohol.

Paramedics arrive, and Laney slips into unconsciousness. Paramedics take her away. In the intensive care unit, doctors discover which pills Laney swallowed.

She is in critical condition. After two days, Laney almost died from severe alcohol withdrawal. She blames her mother for trying to kill her.

Hi there darlin, This was the lady that took her "Puddycat" in the limo to rehab. She really got to me for some reason. I know the other woman you are referring to and she was really hard to take. The Interventionist was even crying for her children. Laney is childless and doing well now in Florida.

The forum is interesting to read and deals with the issues of drug addiction. It is worth going on the site and checking it out for information.

I like to know what happened to the addicts and their families also post. I hope all is well with you. I have some blood work to get done today, grrrrrr. It is something I have put off for too long. Love to ya, Tim. Was she the one who appeared to have a boatload of money, and more psychological problems than addiction issues? One of the problems I have watching Intervention, is they almost make it appear that the agony of withdrawal doesn't exist.

One minute they're on a plane, and the next it's 3 months later and they've either relapsed or just loving their new lives. Yes, that is Laney. It was so interesting reading posts from her family and others. I really like that show and watch it on "On Demand" too. We all know too well how the agony exists. It would be interesting to see that and I think it would really help addicts.

Then a double-dealing artist made his way into her mother's life and he gambled away their home, leading Sierra to a scary, drug-induced psychotic break.

Today, the year-old is a feral junkie, scrapping for a fix on the streets of California. After being forced to perform a sex act on her father's friend when she was just a child, Nicole developed a triggered response — an eating disorder — in which she was unable to swallow. The man admitted to the crime and got probation for it. However, he still lived in her neighborhood. The most disturbing aspect of her case was that no one in Nicole's life seemed to be sympathetic to her situation.

Her parents did nothing when it happened and everyone just told her to move on and get over it. By age 16, Nicole weighed just 68 pounds, and doctors inserted a feeding tube into her stomach.

The tube was supposed to be temporary, but 16 years later, Nicole still relies on the tube and can't swallow food or drink. She also abuses prescription drugs and neglects her two daughters.

Her husband plans to divorce her if she continues to neglect their children. Laney was severely addicted to alcohol and was hospitalized after attempting suicide. However, at the time the episode was filmed, she did not want to confront her problems. When Laney overheard that her family was going to stage an intervention, she rushed home as quickly as possible.

When the family showed up at her house the following day, Laney had locked herself in the mansion and called the police on them.
