Who is meowths owner
Most of the instances where he must fight he proves to be extremely lackluster and not much of a worthy opponent. However, there are very rare occasions when he is forced to battle and actually proves to be a fairly strong adversary. He also has yet to evolve, which probably stems from the dislike of his next evolution, which would be Persian.
He is jealous of Giovanni's Persian, continually vying for the coveted spot of "Top Cat. Meowth, that's right! Meowth can't perform Pay Day, which is a move that does damage and scatters coins on the ground. Although he has a love for shiny things —just like every other member of his species— this move remains elusive to him. At the expense of Pay Day, Meowth learned to walk and talk, which leaves him without much of a battle repertoire.
He still has the gold oval coin embedded into his forehead, but it is absolutely useless to him in battle. Meowth was able to compensate for his lack of skills in those areas by proving to be a skilled liar, learning how to pick locks, and acting as a translator for his team.
Meowth's in-between state could be the reason that he ponders his own existence so much and feels things much more deeply than his human counterparts do. He is not owned by anyone, not even Jessie and James. This stems from Meowth's feeling of not belonging. Meowth's life on the streets was never easy, but at least he had a full stomach when he was in a gang of other Meowths. He was already an outcast, so he naturally fell in with, and felt like he belonged for a very short while with his own species.
They were all misfits, so for once, he didn't feel alone. The leader of this gang, a Persian, would soon become his rival for love when he returns years later to Tinseltown. In this gang, he learned the ways of the streets. His transition to Team Rocket was spurred on by a quest for riches and power, both of which he didn't end up achieving.
Meowzie calls Meowth a freak after he learns to walk and talk to please her, indicating he has moved more towards having more human characteristics. His fellow members of Team Rocket treat him as human essentially, allowing him to pilot their crafts and plot their schemes. Meowth can put on as many disguises as he wants, but he will never be fully human. Ever since Meowzie spurned him for not being "human enough," Meowth was left with these fractured parts of his identity that he was never able to reconcile.
Even though he is with Team Rocket, he is not sure how to view himself. He sees himself as powerful and in control, but every time his schemes just fall flat, and he, Jessie, and James have to "blast off again. But when it looked within, Meowth was badly hexed, and fell unconscious.
He had a vision of walking down a long tunnel, then ran into a light, finding visions of Glaceon , Gardevoir , and Lopunny calling for him. They turned out to be projections cast by Gastly , Haunter , and Gengar. Everything disappeared, and he fell into an abyss. In the real world, Jessie and James dumped water on Meowth, reviving him. After relating his apparent near-death experience, he blamed Mimikyu for it. When Mimikyu battled Pikachu hard, Team Rocket decided to attempt to capture it, and stepped in to stop Ash.
Before they could fight again, however, a Bewear stepped in and carried Jessie and James off. Meowth got Mimikyu to disengage from Pikachu so they could chase the Bewear. Afterwards, they sent Team Rocket blasting off. In A Seasoned Search!
Later, he came across Ash and told him to protect Litten. Following Stoutland 's disappearance, Meowth visited Litten to try and get it to talk before leaving when Ash approached. Meowth later watched as Ash caught Litten, claiming that it was for the best, even though it turned them into enemies.
In A Team-on-Team Tussle! However, they were intercepted by members of Team Skull , who were after the same Z-Crystal. In Alola, Kanto! In Acting True to Form! Jessie and James came looking for him and mistook the Alolan Meowth for him. Returning to base, he discovered the Alolan Meowth was winning over Jessie and James and ignored his warnings about not trusting it.
It later contacted Meowth, stating its intentions to replace Persian on Giovanni's lap. During the trip, the Darkest Day began, and the trio planned on using the opportunity to capture Eternatus. The plan failed, however, when Meowth was hit by a beam of Dynamax energy, causing him to Gigantamax. Unable to handle the energy, he began to attack his teammates.
Meowth has an ambitious, conniving, and idealistic personality. He often clashes with them because they are equally as smug and conniving as him. Many of his personality traits are typical for other Meowth, where they have an affinity for affection, but he has an eye for sparkling objects. He is motivated by self-interest and greed, but also enjoys the thrill of taking advantage of others.
Despite his seemingly outgoing nature, Meowth also has a contemplative inner side that is not seen as often. On a few occasions, Meowth has become stranded with Pikachu, and during these times, the two work together fairly well. Pikachu distrusts Meowth, but Meowth is more willing to let go of the past and work together. Usually, by the end of these episodes, Meowth will betray Pikachu once he and Pikachu find Jessie and James. Despite his often self-interested nature, he is willing to support individuals with their own passions, and will go out of his way to ensure they achieve their goal.
He has also demonstrated aspirations of being a parent-like caretaker, like in Who Gets to Keep Togepi? To regain custody of Togepi, he even defeated Brock's Onix by throwing a bucket of water in its face and finishing it with a Fury Swipes attack to the head. Meowth normally does not battle unless there are extreme circumstances; his explanation is that his ability to talk and walk upright came at the expense of battling ability. However, when forced to fight, Meowth is fairly resourceful, such as dumping a bucket of water on an Onix to weaken it, most notably Brock's Onix in Who Gets to Keep Togepi?
He remains a part of the trio because he feels he has a place with them. He utilizes fantasies to explain his schemes to his teammates, though these also expose Meowth's ambitions to be Giovanni's sole companion. On several occasions, Meowth's value has been questioned, and he has shown signs of having abandonment issues, for example in Tunnel Vision or in A Hot Water Battle. He even had some tension towards Jessie's Wobbuffet when he first joined the trio and kept taking his place in the Team Rocket motto , but the pair now gets along.
His attachment to Jessie and James is more obvious when he finds himself separated or when the trio has decided to go their separate ways. Examples of this include Hoenn Alone or Lucario and the Mystery of Mew , when he became sad after Jessie and James got swallowed up by the Tree of Beginning 's antibodies.
Following Stoutland's disappearance, Meowth visited Litten to try and get it to talk before leaving when Ash approached. Meowth later watched as Ash caught Litten, knowing that it was for the best even though it meant they were enemies.
Meowth appeared in I Choose You! While looking for Entei in the forest, they were blasted off by a raging Onix. Unlike Yellow, he is no longer a part of the battles that Jessie and James have against the player. Also unlike the anime, he does not speak the human language, and instead, his dialogue mainly consists of making generic cat noises.
It was available from July 13 to 14, He will turn around upon saying "meow! Meowth also appears in Pichu Bros. They are reunited for the Double Trouble Event. It appears as an opponent during the first Super Tag set. Meowth is a playable character, along with Jessie and James.

After earning his third badge on Troveta, Ash has a craving for adventure. Tracey checks the map and tells the group of the giant Pidgeot and Rhydon that roam free on the island. This doesn't seem to worry the gang and they continue on their way with Pikachu leading the way. They come up over a slope and Ash spots a giant fruit basket on the floor ground.
Without suspecting anything they run forward. Misty notes that it is a bit convenient that there is a basket in the road with a bow and everything.
Thinking about it, Ash decides that it would be a better idea to leave the basket and eat from a fruit tree growing near the road. Thinking that they outsmarted the tricksters who owned the basket, they walk over the tree. Unfortunately, they plunge into a pit. As Ash tries to work out how they fell for the trap, Team Rocket's motto chimes in followed by ecstatic laughter. The fruit was fake and Team Rocket explains that reverse psychology worked to trick them into eating the fruit from the tree and falling into the trap.
Ash realizes that he was right and they should have taken the basket, and Misty shouts at Ash to think of something as Meowth tells Jessie and James to get Pikachu.
